The founders
Daniel Abittan founded Acuitis with his son, Jonathan. Together they have one goal: to rekindle the reputation of optics and hearing, and revive lost values: love of fine workmanship, professionalism, expertise, elegance, distinction, creativity, generosity and care, at very low prices.
The first Acuitis store
When they started this human adventure, Daniel Abittan and his son, Jonathan, appealed to their lifelong friends in the world of optics and hearing. The first Acuitis store was founded in 2010 in Geneva. Since then, Daniel has become a grandfather and wants to create transgenerational spaces bringing together young and old alike.
Our know-how
For Acuitis, they joined forces with Frédéric Beausoleil, a French eyewear artist, who imagines and designs all the brand’s optical, sunglasses and hearing collections.
Frédéric Beausoleil was trained by an old craftsman according to tradition and respect for artisan values, detailed finishing and fine craftsmanship. He likes to work with the finest materials.
With a preference for cellulose acetate and marquetry, his designs are unique. He has painstakingly honed his technique and expertise in design and assembly to offer Designer eyewear accessible to all.
